Vitalizer Plus Cleaning & Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and long-term use of your Vitalizer Plus, it’s essential to clean and maintain the system regularly. This guide covers how to properly clean the pitcher, rotor, mineral cube, and base—and what to avoid to protect your unit from damage.

Vitalizer Plus Regular Cleaning 

Pitcher, Lid, and Rotor

Clean these components regularly, especially with daily use: Pitcher, lid, and rotor. Here is how:
  1. Use mild dish soap and warm water
  2. Hand wash only—do not place in the dishwasher
  3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
  4. Always remove the mineral cube before washing the pitcher
✅ Tip: The rotor and silicone ring can be removed and washed together with the lid and pitcher.

Mineral Cube

  1. The mineral cube should never be cleaned with soap or chemicals.
  2. Rinse with cold water only
  3. Use a soft sponge or cloth if needed
  4. Do not use detergent, hot water, or brushes

Base Unit

  1. Keep the base dry and clean to protect the electronics and magnetic motor.
  2. Wipe the middle area of the base with a dry, soft cloth
  3. Never submerge the base in water or expose it to moisture
  4. Do not open or attempt to disassemble the unit

Vitalizer Plus Maintenance

Mineral Cube Replacement

The mineral cube slowly releases structuring minerals and helps alkalize your water. It must be replaced after 4,020 minutes of use.
When the LED screen displays “CC” (Change Cube):

  1. Remove the old cube (turn counterclockwise)
  2. Insert a new one (turn clockwise to lock)
  3. Run a 9-minute cycle to rinse the cube and discard the water
  4. Press and hold “Minute” + “Start/Stop” until “CL” appears to reset the usage timer

Mineral Cube Storing

  1. The cube can remain in the pitcher with water
  2. Keep it away from direct sunlight to preserve mineral integrity

After Periods of Inactivity

If your Vitalizer Plus hasn’t been used in a while:
  1. Fill the pitcher with filtered water
  2. Run a 9-minute cycle
  3. Discard the water (or use it to water plants)
  4. This helps clear the system and refresh the mineral cube.

Important Reminders

  1. Do not use hot water in the pitcher
  2. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives on any part of the system
  3. Do not clean the mineral cube with soap
  4. Keep all parts dry and away from sunlight when not in use
  5. Only use the Vitalizer Plus with filtered or purified water
With proper cleaning and care, your Vitalizer Plus will continue to deliver structured, oxygenated, and mineral-rich water—day after day.
