How to attach my AlkaFlow™ ALKA-UF?

The AlkaFlow™ ALKA-UF is the ultrafiltration filter designed to work in combination with the ALKA-PH filter to provide enhanced water purification. When connected properly, they form a two-stage filtration system inside your pitcher.

Follow these simple steps to install the ALKA-UF filter to your ALKA-PH filter:

1. Turn the ALKA-PH filter upside down.

2. Take the ALKA-UF and insert it to the bottom of the ALKA-PH filter.

3. Twist until it locks securely into place. You should feel a slight resistance when it’s fully connected.

4. Now that the ALKA-UF is attached, install the combined unit into the filter chamber of your AlkaFlow™ pitcher or dispenser as you normally would.

5. Run at least one full pitcher of water through the system and discard it. This helps flush out any fine particles and activates the filtration layers.

💡 Tip: It’s normal to feel some resistance. The silicone gasket around the ALKA‑UF must be watertight to ensure all filtered water from the ALKA‑PH passes through the ALKA‑UF.

If you need more pressure, keeping the ALKA‑PH upside down on the countertop while you attach the ALKA-UF will help.
