Filter Replacement Schedule
As you may have discovered, Black Berkey filters are no longer available on the market due to a Stop Sale Order issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), related to compliance with required testing and labeling.
With this in mind, we currently advise our customers to change their Black Berkey filters after 2 years on continuous use.
The Coldstream FTO+ filters, which have been tested independently according to NSF standards, are ideal to replace the Black Berkey filters.
