Powerful Gravity-Fed Filtration
Berkey systems use a dual-chamber, gravity-based design. Water is filtered as it flows from the upper chamber through Black Berkey® purification elements, delivering exceptionally clean water—without electricity, water pressure, or plumbing.
Contaminant Removal
Berkey systems remove or reduce:

Filter Life
Berkey systems can either use Black Berkey® elements or Coldstream FTO+ filters.
Each pair of Black Berkey® purification elements is recommended to last 2 years, in order to get filtration of consistent performance.
Each Coldstream FTO+ filter is NSF-tested to filter more than 1500L (around 6 months of use), which means that two Coldstream FTO+ filters can last a full year of consistent use all while preserving their filtration performance.
