AQUA Coldstream Installation

AQUA Coldstream Installation

SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Clean the stainless steel components
Using a soft sponge, clean the two stainless steel canisters and the lid with soap and water. Important: Never use soap, vinegar, or chemicals to clean the filters.
  2. Install the knob.
Thread the screw through the metal washer and then through the hole in the lid from the underside.
Screw the knob onto the screw and hand-tighten.
  3. Attach the spigot
Slide a metal washer and a silicone washer onto the stem of the spigot.
Insert the stainless steel spigot into the pre-drilled hole in the lower canister.
Slide the second silicone washer and the second metal washer onto the spigot stem inside the canister.
Secure the spigot tightly with the nut to ensure a water-tight seal.
  4. Install the filters
Remove the filters from their packaging.
Thread a black rubber washer onto the stem of each filter.
Insert the filter stem into the hole at the bottom of the upper chamber.
Attach the wingnut to the threaded stem and tighten to ensure a watertight seal.
Attention: Avoid over-tightening to prevent stripping the wingnut threads.
  5. Assemble the system
Place the lower stainless steel chamber on a stable surface.
Position the upper chamber securely on top.
  6. Initial filtration and rinse
Fill the upper chamber with water and allow it to pass through the filters.
NOTE: The first batch of water will take longer to filter as the filters are dry.
Discard the first batch of filtered water as it may contain carbon dust.
  7. Rinse the filters
    Refill the upper chamber.
If the filtered water is clear, the system is ready to use.
If the water is still cloudy, or if the water has a strong 'new filter' taste, repeat the rinsing process as needed.
  8. Ready to use
Your AQUA Coldstream gravity water purifier is now ready for use. Enjoy safe, pure, great-tasting water.
