MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean the lower canister (once a month)
   Use a soft sponge and mild dish soap, or a 50-50 mixture of clean water and white vinegar.
   Do not use dishwasher detergent.
2. Clean the whole system (every 3 months)
   Remove the spigot and soak it in a 50-50 mixture of clean water and white vinegar for 5-10 minutes.
   Rinse it thoroughly under running water.
   Wash both chambers with a soft sponge using dish soap or a 50-50 mixture of white vinegar and water.
   Reinstall the spigot and the filters.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

1. Do not overfill the upper chamber if the lower chamber is already partially filled.
   
2. Do not place the system in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
3. Do not allow wet Coldstream FTO+ filters to freeze.
4. Do not wash the filters with soap or detergent.
5. Do not place the filters in a dishwasher or microwave.
6. Do not pour boiling water into the system.
7. Do not use the system with seawater as the filters do not remove salt.
