Installation Instructions: Faucet and Filter

1. Unscrew the aerator from your kitchen faucet. If necessary, use pliers, but protect the metal with a cloth to avoid scratches.
   
2. Screw the diverter valve onto the faucet. If it does not fit directly, use one of the supplied adapters.

3. Turn on the faucet and pull the diverter valve button to redirect the water flow to the filter.
   ➤ Use cold water only with the filter.

4. Rinse the filter by letting cold water run through the system for at least 5 minutes to clean the new cartridge.
   ➤ If there is an aftertaste, let the system sit for a few minutes, then rinse again.

• Run water through the filter for at least 5 minutes

• Let the system sit for a few minutes

• Rinse again for an additional 5 minutes
  

• Repeat rinsing if a taste persists.
  

Cartridge Replacement Instructions

1. Use the supplied wrench to unscrew the filter housings in a counterclockwise direction.
   ➤ If the housing is too tight, have someone hold the base while you turn.

2. Remove the old cartridge and insert the new one.
   ➤ For the mineralization cartridge, make sure the arrow molded on the housing points downward.

3. Screw the housing lids back on in a clockwise direction, tightening enough to prevent any leaks.

4. Run cold water for at least 5 minutes to rinse the new cartridge.
   ➤ If you notice a residual taste, let the system sit, then rinse again.

Filter Replacement Frequency and Cleaning

• Filter replacement: Every 6 months (depending on usage and water quality)

• System cleaning: Every 6 to 12 months, or during filter changes
